Sloppy Joes

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped bell pepper
1 cup diced celery
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 can condensed tomato soup
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper

Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Drain. Add remaining ingredients, stir thoroughly, cover and simmer 1 hour. OR (my preferred method) After cooking the meat, dump everything in a crockpot and leave it on low all day. Sometimes it turns out a little watery--I just stir in a little flour to thicken it up before serving on hamburger buns and topping with shredded cheddar or a slice of american cheese. I know it's a lot of ingredients, but don't worry--it's super easy and pretty popular at potlucks!

Okay...I've had this recipe at GG's house before and it is SUPER GREAT! Thanks for posting it because I lost the little paper I wrote the recipe on...2 months ago.
